@PhilG380, I'm flying that very same plane for United in September from San Francisco to Chicago O' Hare for a little weekend mileage run. What is it like in coach cabin? I've never flown on a Boeing 747 400 before and I'm very excited. Can you upgrade with continental miles because I have about 50 thousand miles and my dad and I want to upgrade on that leg of the flight back to Tampa. Let me know when you can. We're supposed to go September 4 and come back the 5 the day before labor day.

@clarkdoc I'm not sure about the CO miles, but I think you can since they are in Star Alliance, though I don't think you get the deep mileage discounts for upgrades if any exist. Continental and UA will be one airline fairly soon, so I'm sure that helps. As for Economy, there are no Private TV's on the 747-400. Economy plus is better as far as legroom is concerned. This video was taken in business class, but economy is survivable, esp in ECO +, but not much choice in entertainment.

@PhilG380 For God's sake (literally) stop making fun of people and the way they communicate. Are some of the less understandable British accents, terms, and spellings on your list also. You will not draw someone to your way of living by attacking who and what they are.
