I disagree with your premise. You can't change history no matter how much you try. Repubs aren't racist. They believe in self responsibility. The problem is...dem policies inslaved people to depend on the government which sadly has affected many of all colors who live in poverty. @Edhallick for the record.....we are not "blacks"! The color of our skin is darker than yours, but we are not black (Art lesson). We are African American! Why we choose to do what we do is our right. A right that we didn't have before. Don't confuse yourself as to why WE make OUR choices. Focus on you and yours. Eventually you will realize that WE "African Americans" don't have to agree with you and/or make our decisions based on what you think is best.
