Shooting flies with an Anschutz .22 caliber at 35 yds. off of sand bags. I'm using a 12x Leupold scope. Honey and a warm white paper on a cool morning was the lure! Sorry for the short video, but it was a long time between game showing up! ;-)

  • Great shooting. Now push yourself further and try for 50 yards. Then push yourself further and go for 75

  • @redwineisfine Well the scope power would have to come up to see them clearly beyond 35 yards and that requires a new scope. And....... I already shot a horse fly at 100 with 6.5-284. It was the last sight in shoot before moving out to a thousand to practice for the nationals in prone highpower. The longest shot I've made was 1,960 yards on an 18 inch bullseye. Kind of hard to see flies that far though. ;-)

  • Thats easy! try shooting a running deer in the earhole!! lol

  • Seems I was there for that, Dave!!!
