Pirates of the Caribbean Ride through (WDW)

This is a ride through of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, located in the Adventureland section of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida (I'll be accepting the award for "most annoying overusage of prepositional phrases" next weekend).

Obviously this is after the ride was modified to add the characters of Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa. We shot it in October of 2008.

The fade-ins and fade-outs are there only so you don't have to see sections of total darkness or focus loss. We also had to trim out the section where the drop is (equipment safety is a priority), but since that section is in complete darkness, you can just close your eyes and yell "whooosh - kersplash" really loud and it's a damn flawless recreation.

This is one of the ALL TIME BEST disney rides. I could go on this 100 + times and NEVER get fed up with this.  This along with Big Thunder, space mountain, Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Expedition Everest make Disney one of the BEST holidays for familys x

@YIPonwater Well i'm not old enough to truly see how people, such as yourself, loved this ride more then the movie. Mostly because i was a kid when the movies came out, but i can see how them adding a character from a film series that you dnon't care for at all could upset you. I do respect your opinion and glad you didn't go off on me :D

@TaxtroGrave i respect your opinion but no, the movie was a bad pop culture spinoff which ruined the name of real historical pirates. i don't even care about the first one, the sequels were just.... terrible. this ride was one of the best memories of my childhood and im just kinda bugged that they had to ruin a band of drunken violent savages with putting movie characters like johnny depp in. (not that i dont like johnny, just not that movie series)
