ohh man u save my day, i was so angry on my second hard disc because i wasn't able to seen him in my computer and i have some data on it that i really needed, so i follow your 1.st step and it worked! Thanks man a million ...

It works, when you have space on "backup" part of hard drive. When all bad sectors has been reallocated with that part (in my case), you gonna get much worst than before chkdsk... so better watch out, and watch for "reallocated sector count"...

First of all, you are using software which is the operating system itself lol. Second of all you ain't fixing nothing. Scandisk or Chdisk only mark the bad sectors on the hard drive so the system won't use them anymore but it doesn't REPAIR the bad sectors themselves.
