Nice demo. I am thinking about picking up a pair of the 4Play CL’s. I know there are a lot more impressive effect lights out there but for the money and simplicity of setup/teardown these are hard to beat.
Are you aware of any “simple” controllers for these? Does Chauvet have something along the line of American DJs UC3? Just a blackout feature would be nice, really.

Very informative man, I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. I'm currently working on getting an event lighting business going, not so much DJ'ing but providing a service to "set the mood" for events such as wedding receptions, etc. One quick question, what hazer do you haze/brand of haze that you've found doesn't set off smoke detectors?
