On the 30th of September 2007, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens sat down for a first-of-its-kind, unmoderated 2-hour discussion, convened by RDFRS and filmed by Josh Timonen.
All four authors have recently received a large amount of media attention for their writings against religion - some positive, and some negative. In this conversation the group trades stories of the public's reaction to their recent books, their unexpected successes, criticisms and common misrepresentations. They discuss the tough questions about religion that face to world today, and propose new strategies for going forward.

one thing i dont understand is this, Hitchens keeps speaking about how there is evil (blowing up in an orphanage) at the same time Dawkins sits there without disagreeing when he believes there is no such thing as evil. he is quoted as saying, "evil does not exist just DNA and we are dancing to it" they all think Islam is evil yet never say why it is evil to be evil or better said, why is it good to do good
re: Harris/stem cells. It isn't only religion that BELIEVES something significant happens at the moment of coneption; it's your blessed modern science that confirms it. Conception is the moment when a NEW life begins, and a distinct, unique DNA is formed. While an unfertilized egg is still merely a part of it's owner, complete with the DNA of it's owner
and all you are at that point is a human cell with different dna from all other you are not a human just a cell with diferent dna not a human just a cell and when you're still in your mom your mom's body will kill you if you are noy going well till you can come out and need very little help to live you are only the start a human not a human you are a seed of a human if you are kucky you live and become a full human
I definitely have my good days and my bad days. Some days I wake up feeling the world is doomed, and Christianity is just stupidity organized. The on other days I often feel that, well, I know many intelligent Christians, and try to get into their heads.
Not all Christians are of identical intellectual stripe....Unfortunately,the same cannot be said of Biblical Literalists. Not all Atheists---by similar token----possess Scientific acumen (as do you).Dwell on your considerable positives, you'll be fine.
I know a few Biblical Literalists who are going to Med School, and at least one who went to University of Virginia Law School...although the former may have just been arguing Biblical inerrancy just for arguments sake. He enjoyed acting like a lawyer whenever possible.
To be sure, they do exist, and in numbers outside Appalachian demographies the 4 gents ut supra don't even suspect. Then again,so do Phlogiston theorists,Flate Earthers and those who place somber premium on the vaticinations of groundhogs in Punxsutawney...
