Aamir Khan is THE best actor in Hindi cinema. I remember the first time I watched this movie, I was stunned...I both feared and pitied Aamir's portrayal of the Ice Candy Wallah.

He was so brilliant in this movie - his Ice Candy Man was pitiable and monstrous at the same time. You were horrified at his actions, but at the same time you understood his motivations

I just saw this movie. When he was talking to Lenny-baby @ 4:40 I really believed he was there to help Shanta(?). God , how I cried when he betrayed her. This is great break down of his complicated character! Very good video!!!!!

my man/woman uofc57, you've hit the nail bang on the head. even for an actor as versatile as aamir, this was pretty fantastic.
i would rate this as one his best performances in his pre-dil chahta hai years. right up there with sarfarosh, ghulam and rangeela.
