Mikado K-28's #473 and 478 double head a 14 car train past Elk Park siding. The ground shook somewhat as the two engines pulled their Silverton-bound tourists through some Colorado's most beautfiul mountains. The guys in overalls are the Durango and Silverton's MOW crew, whose job it is to make sure no fires start along the tracks from the train's cinders. After the train rolls by, the MOW crew raises their hats to signal to the conductor that all is ok and train is safe--This is called a "Roll-by".
Nice MOW crew. They greet the passsengers. This is service.

@Todaylight Yeah sorry about the wind and shaking, i shot most of my videos "at work" with the MOW crews. The Roadmaster wouldn't be too happy to see that I brought "foamer" equipment to the job. I was luck to sneak a mini camera there, haha.
