  • Commons are often are treated as dumping grounds, I prefer it to be a commodity. Water needs to priced for scarcity or else it won't be managed correctly whether it's overuse or pollution not matter how much regulation you throw at it. I get that around 30 gallon per day is a human right and should stay cheap which is why tiered rates are a good idea. God this thing is full of shallow scare words.

  • Please consider supporting Bala Energy Co-op - Water is our commons, not a commodity. Waterpower is a public resource often developed using public lands and waters. The public will endure the social and economic impacts and the hydropower is purchased by the public at incentivized prices. Should this resource benefit a small group of private speculators or should this water be used to help ensure the long term sustainability of the community?

  • Well put!!! Thank you for fighting to protect our common trust. Water is a human right not a private product for corporate profit.

  • the reason you cant get the support is,

    because they are working sneaky,

    behind the scene...

in every area, that that sustains life.

and yes this is a international issue.

my only regret is...my anger might work againt these issues.
