Freshly built 1380cc KAD twin cam.

Brand new big valve cylinder head, billet crank, arrow rods, forged pistons, 6 speed dog box etc etc...

The webers are jetted for a small valve and the engine has not been set up yet so its tricky to start, you get the idea though.

  • Hi John, long time no see.

Cam timing all correct this time round, its a brand new cylinder head too - a big valve this time. 1380cc big valves with these cams have made around 185hp on KAD's own dyno I believe so we are optimistic.

I dare say we'll be booking an appointment with you at some point in the future - this is the first run of the car since you saw it nearly 2 years ago!

  • Hi Nice to see! Is this yours or your brothers. I am assuming its your bro s? Cheers, David. Mines going well, been using it a few months now.

  • Hi David, this is my brothers - BD4 cams @ 316° duration!

I saw your videos, good to see you're up and running. I bet its great with the roof off.

  • Cheers Dan, It is great with roof off!. Love the sound they make at full(ish) chat. Still running in so I have rev limited it to 7k at the moment lol. Just a little annoying rumble in the front suspension somewhere. I suspect its a bent hub or something. Keep up the good work. I got one of those little go pro cameras for sticking on the car. Neat little cam for you tube!
