..there is way too many "know it all's" commenting here...can other exercises be effective, yes!..can other products be effective, yes!...but that's not the point..do they market well...yes...but proof is in the pudding, meat heads! the product and protocol work and that's the bottom line..it doesn't mean other methods or products don't but it doesn't disparage or discredit this product...so let's be adults here...too many ignorant and uneducated comments...

agreed, most reverse flies or shoulder movements would work fine

Looks kind of dumb to me, i think ill stick with dumbbells and pullup bar.Also deep pushups work that region too.According to human anatomy, to develop fast twitching white muscular tissue you need to only add more weight to the motion.....

Yep, I'd say theraband or thera-tubing is all one needs. I do think that both are superior to free weights in these exercises.
The CS System is an advanced rotator cuff workout and would not be appropriate for early rehab. The high velocity plyometrics target the fast twitch muscle fibers, unlike slow traditional exercises, and have been implemented by 10 major league baseball organizations as well as over 100 rehab clinics for bridging the gap between clinical rehab and on the field performance. These professionals would not implement our plyometric routine if they considered the exercises to be potentially dangerous.

Give me a break...the same kinds of movements can be replicated in other ways (e.g., free weights). The fast contractions shown in the video are also an irresponsible, and potentially dangerous recommendation.

You are absolutely correct in stating these exercises can be replicated in other ways e.g. Free weights. However, you would not be able to stand in a functional upright position using free weights and target these specific rotator cuff muscles because of the pull of gravity. To properly target these muscles using free weights you would have be in prone, lying down, position. Standing in a functional upright position provides proprioceptive training throughout the entire kinetic chain.
