  • where can i find the whole film of this? this is a crazy production (technically)

  • I love this work, and this scene should be terrifying- but the acting is very poor. Marie, in particular is sleepwalking- she's not 'in the moment', reacting spontaneously to what she hears Wozzeck saying. An example is her " why are you shivering?". How would she KNOW he is shivering?- she says the line BEFORE she even sees him or feels his touch. She's so vacant. You can't act in slow- motion! even in opera!

  • "nothing..."

damn this is one crazy opera. I love it!

  • Expressionism in 20th Century

    dark side of people

  • "zum pfingsten drei jahre" xD

    finde die oper iwie genial...

aber die kombination oper und atonalität hat iwie etwas skuriles find ich auch^^

    finds cool :-)

  • Wagner would have agreed....but I don't :P

  • finde die musik sehr interessant!

  • Watched this is Music History this morning. From that haunting, gut wrenching B natural, to the eerie libretto and sinister atonality, this opera is truly a tour de force. Bravo!
