Using 1 Camera (Grab Depth & Color, not Kinect-like) to Integrate Live Foreground & Fake Backgnd

After modifying one traditional color camera, this modified camera can capture depth of field (depth map) and color image in real time (not Kinect's two cameras nor stereo vision). Kinect needs both depth camera and color camera; stereo vision needs two calibrated cameras, they are too expensive.

To prove this patent is both depth camera and color camera, the DIY depth camera (only one camera) automatically extract real foreground object from live view, and paste the object on another fake background film [1]. For the same function, Kinect needs two cameras at the same time.

Thanks for your explanation, I understood your meaning. I keep the borderline just for next phase developing. In the other methods of depth map (ex. stereo), the borderline of forground could be mixed with background like Cambridge's I2I laboratory (using stereo camera). If removing the borderline is necessary on specific application, I can remove it through mixing with background.

Yes, I can. What working distance do you apply to? I can adjust accuracy for different application. Ex.: It can apply in short distance for face recognition or medium distance like Kinect for recognizing human pose; long distance like surveillance system can also be applied but I still have no idea to apply for what problem in long distance.
