I just got home from the Gerson treatment center in Tijuana. My wife has ovarian cancer. She is doing well......better than when she got there two weeks before. We are hopeful.

sweetclair06 obvoiusly you don't have cancer, but I do. I'm using Gerson and my numbers have dropped dramatically. So smoking doesnt cause cancer? The American Diet? How about either do a wee bit of research or get out of this discussion. Cancer isn't magical. There is cause and effect or we wouldn't have any warning lables.When you get it what will you do? Then do it! That's my freedom of choice. My cancer is incurable. Elimate toxic factors and you will be (less likely) to present.

Considering the pharmaceutical industry is expected to be worth more than $1 trillion in 2014. Curing one of the largest profit gaining treatments would be more than counter-productive to them. It's profits before people's well-being. It's why any potential cancer cures will remain in R & D and the treatment of cancer will be the main focus.

ABVD is an acronym for the four medicines that are in the chemotherapy most commonly given for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It's usually administered on an outpatient basis every 2 weeks for two to six months, depending on your stage. Hodgkin's Lymphoma has an extremely high survivor rate (over 90%) with traditional treatment, so few opt for Gerson as a replacement to it.

NED = No Evidence of Disease. It's the medical term for remission.

I'm genuinely happy for you that Gerson has been effective. I hope you have NED now.

There are more than 200 distinctive types of cancer, some of which are far more influenced by lifestyle and environmental factors than others. I never smoked, drank, or had a single Happy Meal. I was raised by my French mother eating nutritious foods, but still got Hodgkin's Lymphoma 3B at 16. There were 2 yr olds being treated at the same hospital. In my case, what SweetClair06 stated is accurate.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma 3B when I was a 16 yr old dancer. I was raised in an extremely health-conscious home by loving, educated parents who made our home "green" long before it was trendy, and kept our kitchen stocked with organic, nutritious food. A family friend works at Gerson in San Diego and inspired me to go vegan years ago. I even went to the screening of movie about Gerson in Beverly Hills as a kid.

I STILL GOT CANCER. Thankfully I had ABVD and have had NED for 3 years.

Look for the book "Gerson Therapy". Might be at your library. Ours has it. Also look up Dr. Sircus on facebook. He has an outstanding book as well. If I ever get diagnosed with cancer I will be going this route.
