  • @nikumuMINA jaloux?

  • @peepingtom101 however, said example, were you to point it out, shows that there are severe limits to the advantage of being "built up". This guy was born in June, 1990 and is only 19yo in this video (don't know if you speak French or not; it's said in the beginning). I have no doubt that his times will continue to fall. London and Rio should be kinda interesting.

  • @peepingtom101 It's exactly analogous to the 0-60 time for a car being a function of the horsepower-to-weight ratio. You show me a sprinter who can do triple-bodyweight deads, squats, etc. with good overall strength (in proportion thereto) and I will show you a blazing fast sprinter, especially in the start. Of course, there are exceptions (after the point of diminishing returns with respect to muscle mass) So, a 275-pounder who deads 3x that, e.g., is probly not postin' a 10.5 anytime soon

  • @peepingtom101 lol ever seen him run the 60m? couldn't be more wrong. it's about not only cross-sectional area of muscles, but the relative amount of CONTRACTILE proteins in them. In other words, some slender muscles can be extremely strong. In yet OTHER words, you don't have to be big to be brutally strong. Do you also think Allyson Felix needs to bulk up? So, at least you understand that sprinting is about strength, which is more than most, but it's the strength-to-weight ratio.

  • L'est trop beau :)
