High school students make up approximately 10% of CBC's donor pool. In an effort to motivate more students to donate, a contest was created asking for a humerous video encouraging students to donate blood. The video submitted by Montrose High students Morgan E., Grant G., Eric B., Kendall H. and Victoria E. was selected as the winner.
These students will now be featured in CBC's high school blood drive promotional materials for the 2011/2012 school year and their video will be placed permanently on CBC's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Although Montrose High School only has 33 students, they still managed to collect 38 units at their last blood drive. That's enough blood to save the lives of 76 people!
Great work guys!
