  • It's great that you put this song up. I'm glad to be listening to it. It's a shame we don't hear this music that much.

  • @shrike678 Try learning some Latin. Makes the whole experience that much better. I can practically understand what they're saying, and it makes sense why the Knights of the time loved this stuff.

  • Those are the lyrics below.

  • De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine;

    Domine, exaudi vocem meam. Fiant aures tuæ intendentes

    in vocem deprecationis meæ.

    Si iniquitates observaveris, Domine, Domine, quis sustinebit?

    Quia apud te propitiatio est; et propter legem tuam sustinui te, Domine.

    Sustinuit anima mea in verbo ejus:

    Speravit anima mea in Domino.

    A custodia matutina usque ad noctem, speret Israël in Domino.

    Quia apud Dominum misericordia, et copiosa apud eum redemptio.

    Et ipse redimet Israël ex omnibus iniquitatibus ejus.

  • @shrike678 You should start small, and simple. I'll send you a message the Latin Church Master gave me. It'll be a start. After that you should try getting something even more simple. A Latin dictionary. Oxford mini dictionary perhaps. And Latin for Dummies. Those might be good starters.
