  • Fun vid. But, it wasn't Lucretius' fault that our more contemporary scientists jumped the gun and called what we know as the atom today, by that name. Cheers.

  • Lucretiius was one cool dude-I agree Openheimer should have payed attention.

  • Interesting. Yeah, this Lucretius Carus was also a Roman poet and philosopher. His only known work, at least up this date, is the philosophical poem De rerum natura, On the Nature of Things, La naturaleza de las cosas...(my language spanish) He was an epicurean...are you an epicurean too?
