These people are nuts, originally they were opposed to thimerosol, they have backed off of that and I really can't understand their objection to vaccinations. Unfortunately even the so called medical experts are joining in saying more research needs to be done, they need to call these people nuts. There are legitimate medical questions about unnecessary vaccinations, but no evidence there is a link to autism.

Claims and accusations are meaningless without strong physical evidence. That is why so many lawsuits fail; they're unsupported.

Washington Post just put out an article that High Fructose Corn Syrup has Mercury in it. HFCS is is almost everything. See my ideas for HFCS free, gluten free and casein free diet to recover Autism lunches for school on my page.

I think MMR is the key one, and it's not as if either of those three diseases are likely to cause serious problems if treated properly. I'd rather take a 1 in 100 chance of getting one of those three diseases over a 1 in 10000 chance of it (somehow) causing autism.

I did look at that web site recovery stories that she brought up. Those kids definately had issues beforehand, but they did not seem autistic. They had some traits that are seen in autistic kids, but they did not look like they had autism.

How about you grow up and deal with criticism. An autistic child is simply a different child than a "normal" child. Parenting in general is hard not matter what your child is.

My son has a wheat allergy and a simple blood test may explain why your autistic child has problems with intestines

My son had three different tests done and was then diagnosed, also I know I have Asperger. I learned how to act over the years, I'm not cured nor do I believe my son can be cured.

Free Speech FTW!
...we weren't given any other options. No discussion about an AAP APPROVED alternate vaccination schedule. No discussion about preservative free vaccinations. No discussion about antibody tests that would rule out some of the less important vaccines...roto virus anyone? No discussion...period.

A quick update: As you may have noticed, I haven't removed the vaccine arguments from the comment section of this post. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, none so much (in my opinion, people!!) as the parents of children on the spectrum. My to year old went in for his well check last week and guess what happened when I refused the vaccines? We were told we were going to be dropped from the practice...
