He & his wife Rosalynn stop to embrace George H.W. & Barbara Bush, but ignore the Clintons standing right next to them. Jimmy Carter endorsed Barack Obama over Hillary during the Democratic primary campaign.

After viewing it again, it appears Rosalynn Carter may have made eye contact with first Hillary, then Bill, as she walks past them. It wasn't quite a smile, but at least an acknowledgement they exist.

Actually this didn't happen at all. The Carters and the Clintons had met up earlier before they met up with the Bushes. Carter had a conversation with Sec'y of state Clinton. He explained it all on Larry King. He says all 5 presidents are very amicable.

It's well known that the Clintons detest Carter for his constant meddling during Clinton's presidency (he's not a favorite of George W. or George H.W. either). Watch the video of the former presidents with Obama in the Oval Office. Carter is off to the side being completely ignored while Bill and George W. are chatting away.

@mindspring57 in africa black natives say that you must have two full black parents to be black. if one of your parents is white or even if one of your parents is black and the other is half-caste you are still seen as coloured which i also agree with. in africa you will find pure 100% blood black african people. so if a half-caste person walks into any african conpound they will be called white muzungu because the native africans are not use to seeing white or half-caste people only on tv.

@mindspring57 well in africa anyone who is three-quarters is labelled as coloured and not accepted by black native africans as black . the word coloured in south africa means mixed-race where as in other places like america the name coloured is just another term for a black person. obama is not black and his children are not black they are all coloureds accept for his wife mrs obama she is black.
