Hello again, game headz!! Gameshowluvr86 here, with more $25,000 Pyramid for your buck! Hope you guys aren't getting tired of it lol... This is an episode from the week of 5/9/83-5/13/83, and features Mama Harper herself, game show queen Vicki Lawrence (of the classic Carol Burnett Show and TV's Mama's Family), and actor LeVar Burton (of the miniseries Roots, and TV's Reading Rainbow). I attended a luncheon where Dick Clark was present. He was sitting at a table with his wife about 15 feet where I was sitting. I could have gone over and spoken with him but he gave off vibes that he didn't want to be disturbed. He actually appeared kind of shy. This was four months before he had his stroke.

Yes, Josh, his first appearance was in 1977.

Also, don't forget that he was also a regular on "Star Trek: The Next Generation", and was the voice the Kwame on "Captain Planet and the Planeteers.

This is one game show that I have grown up with. When I was a kid,I was always fascinated with the big pyramid. I always hoped at the end credits that they would show a big closeup of the crown. But now I know that it happened more in the 70's than in the 80's. Gameshowluvr86,It is amazing that you have a lot of episodes from all of Dick Clark's versions and even Bill Cullen's version. You Rock!
