Makee Ailana

A little shaky, but my rendition of Makee Ailana.

From Hualpala.org: The present site of the Honolulu Zoo parking lot, this island was named for the sea Captain James Makee (1812-1879) born in Woburn, Massachusetts. It was off the shore of Kapiolani Park, where a fresh water stream flowed into the ocean. There was a bridge across this stream and lilies in the water.

I love this song filled with LOVE and good spirit .. It gives me so much LIGHT, LIFE, feeling of LOVE.. Also the singer sings so sweet, nicely. I found this song title in the CD "Sounds of Hawaii".
