This video shows the issues with this keyboard model's speakers, the problem, along with many other issues I'm told, has been fixed with the newest model. Same price too if I remember correctly -- should've waited three years :|

  • Just set up my YPG635 and can't get it to power up at all. Naturally checked the power source, plug, circuit breaker etc. Anyone have any ideas as to what to do?

  • @hazzanmjm...Take/send it back. Usually a keyboard has a free warranty for the first few weeks, well depending on where you got it I guess.

  • When did you first start experiencing problems with the speakers? I'm interested in buying this keyboard, but I'm kind of afraid after reading many reviews about the speakers giving out. Thanks.

  • First time I played it

  • I have another problem. Can anyone help? The "A" key that is next to the last one in the high register doesn't respond fast enough when doing a trill, etc. It doesn't physically stick down. My 625 did the same thing.

  • hmmm...check the dsp, although it doesn't sound like that's the issue. I'd have it checked if I were you, I don't think mine has an issue like that

  • Get an amp

  • sounds like a few loose components to me, nothing serious. If I owned it I would just take it a part, find the loose stuff and tighten every single thing down including the chassis.

  • @nickviscuso Dirty/dusty connections on the board... if your warranty is out, remove the keyboard part of the piano and you can clean off the contact surface with glass cleaner.. (spray on the rag, NOT the board.) Otherwise, send er' in.

  • @SexyStitches Don't blare it and you most likely won't have that problem.. But you just have to re-torque the screws about 6 months in, as they loosen up and cause the chassis to vibrate.

  • Do what I did... spend 200 bucks on focal speakers... yes; car speakers. They will make the piano SING. The vibrations are usually dust inside the speaker grille. which sucks, because it's a pain in the ass to take off.

  • how much does it cost aprox?
