  • @sia1807 - Thank you so much Silvia for taking the time to encourage my first beginning steps on the accordion. I love the kind of music you play and your channel is an inspiration. It would be wonderful if one day I could play such expressive music myself.

  • You are my Teachers.

Good things pass in to the world of the Internet.

  • @yoybong - Thank you for your encouragement. On the Interner we are all teachers of each other. Together we all learn to play wonderful music.

  • Very nice Demonstration Dianne. Congratulations this looks like it is going to be a wonderful learning instrument "Video" Channel.

    Ron!

  • @Rhawneld57 - Thanks Ron. I'm please that I'm able to play these short practice pieces but I know there's a lot more work to be done. I hope my enthusiasm will continue.

  • @AccordionLadyDi Diane, thanks a lot for your nice words! I am glad that you like my music and it makes me really proud that my "channel is an inspiration" for you. Wow!! I do think that you can play expressive music one day. From what I have heard in your videos, I think that you have the musical talent. If you just stick to regular practicing - and listening to others. This is very important in my opinion, just listen to all kind of other musicians.

Take care and say "hi" to Leon :-)

  • @alainhammond - Thanks Alain for your kind words. I wish I had learned music when I was 6 or 12 years old but alas it's much too late for that. I am enjoying the process of learning the accordion and I have always loved to listen to music. I admire your playing.

  • @ImaLanger - Thanks Mike. Let me tell you that I would never consider any of your comments a bore; I have too much respect for you. Your basic techniques are exactly what every new student should learn. I'm always open to feedback.

  • Three very well played studies. You have a wonderful touch, your bass notes are nice and crisp, your bellows perfect and the right hand articulation of the 3 requirements, - legato, dotted minims played with just a slight "breath" between them and in the 1st 2 studies, held right hand note with a short bass at the end. Of course, I have not seen the music, but this is what I hear and what I guess the study would be looking for.

Sorry to be a bore about technique, but it is so important.

    Mike
