2009 Mazda 6 2.5L Sport Auto 0-100 test

This is 0-100 trial run with the 2009 Mazda 6 2.5L full-option trim (Sport package)..previously while I tested, the same car could hit 100 only in 8.9 seconds (video uploaded)..however probably the engine has broke in, and the car now does 0-100 in 8.5 seconds..

I own 2.5 MT model, it does it in 8.2 seconds 0-62mph ( 0-100 km/h ) european model.

@cipigmcx : yup...very much possible with proper shifts...and i guess even 8 is possible since I've seen a video posted by some russian dude hitting 100 kph in 7.9 seconds!

Yup, the altima 2.5 is faster than my car; however the base mazda 6 will be on par wid ur Altima..n tatz tested..the 18" stock alloys alongwid othr optional fittings, is degrading the overall performance...

the needle moved from 0 at 0:04 and got to 100 at 0:12

how did anyone get above 10 seconds, its at least around 8~9 seconds

Hi there, I also own Mazda 6 2.5L Sport model and it does 0-100 test in 8.9 seconds. In official catalog there is info it should do 0-100 test in 8.4 seconds. What do you mean by "probably the engine has broke in" ? What did you do you to get this 8.5 seconds ? Thanks
