It is said that the Hilton Hotel, New York, once in a big springtime newspaper advertisement described its own adress as "Just across Moondog".

He also worked with a Swiss Singer/Musician Stephan Eicher. Video on the way...

    :-)

  • @InuitAldebaran..it is interesting that he talked about the swing of the Indians, the heartbeat of an indian heart.. perhaps you can hear the rhythm of an indian heart in all these songs...he also had an interesting life ..the movie is ok, but somebody will have to write a novel about him some day too..because he was quite a character..a talented bohemian street musician that made his own original instruments and dressed like a viking..they even called him the viking of New York..:-))

    Hello, fine companion!

It is very entertaining and surprising, i find, to check Moondog, aka Louis Thomas Hardin, on Wikipedia and maybe google for a picture of him reciting from the Edda on the corner of 6th/54th in New York.

Somebody, some day will have to make a movie about his life. But what director?

  • @InuitAldebaran Yes, Moondog, Perhaps, I am now listening to then and its rhythm I find it also very similar to the pace of this song, a wonderful group too, mixing different styles of music.. like classical-baroque music with jazz, very nice.. Hello Jorge! :-)

  • @rapidopato

    Olà, Francisco!

Yes this is relaxing - and a little amusing. In the good sense.

(Trivia: Everytime i listen to "Moondog* i detect those rhythms in all kind of music for days after. I realised that effect before...:-)

  • Tick Tock!!!
