Does anyone know of any video channel that shows *any* GITS episodes from Season 1 ? So far all I can find is 6 episodes of season SAC on LiveVideo channel. Adult swim is being stingy and only shows one episode per week now. Is the entire internet wiped clean of GITS, or am I just too dumb to know where to look?

Dude you should write Tachikoma sacrifice instead of suicide. They sacrificed themselves to save the major, Bato and the people in the island...suicide would be ending their lives just for being sad or some other crap...

This is at the same time the best and worst moment in ghost in the shell, and one of the more touching i've ever seen in a movie or anime...tachikoma's should have gotten a bunch of oscars for their performance ;)

I remember that I cried when the Tachikoma's sacrificed themselves to save Dajima. The song just made it worse; it's unbelievably sad.

@SuperLycurgus suicide is not dependant upon your emotional state. Suicide just means to kill yourself..motivations don't really matter. Likewise homicide is killing of another person. But not all homicide is murder. Some is accidental, some is negligent, sometimes it's self defense. It's technically all homicide. You can accidentally kill yourself..and it's still technically suicide.

I priced them on Amazon a few weeks ago -- each half-hour is $1.99 USD (not counting taxes & stuff). The box set seems a better deal. Besides, my comp is a few years old and I had it checked out -- am told I'm dangerously low on RAM and need to get a new system (not in my budget) or add RAM, which I'm trying to do ASAP. If you don't get DVD's, how do you save them? (Just curious, I'm compu-ignorant) *blush* ^o^ Thnx!
