Does the Steam version run slower or is my laptop just crap?

there is a good chance it may be your laptop, as I had issues with psyconauts, while my friend had the game running smoothly. Odd that it would happen with Toki Tori though.

I would have to disagree with you, the simpsons are not realistic, though the game isn't artistic persay, but realism? Not really. and just because a game is realistic doesn't mean it isn't fun, I just wish people would stop focusing on realism.

Kinda reminds of of the Adventure of Lolo for they give you a limited suply of items to use for different mechanics to complete the puzzle

Yea, i also have Psychonauts and sometimes it suffers from slowdown but most of the time it just freezes but it doesn't un-freeze . And it can't eve bring back the button!!!
