  • Thank you SOOOO much for your video! It saved me $125.00 and I learned a lot about my Mac. I had to figure out how to set up a new hard drive for OS X installation 'cause the new drive did not show up when I tried to install Snow Leopard....but a quick search got me to the Apple site and I followed the instructions and voila...I'm up and running...Thanks again

  • This video is sooo hot.

  • Hi there, Thanks for the vid. Just a couple of things: On my iMac the aluminium foil just wouldn't peel off. I used brute force approach with a cutter and simply cut the foil.

Also, you don't say that if a heat sensor is available, it should be removed and glued to the new disk.

I did not do that, and now the iMac has the fans on full blast. Doh. I'm going to have to take it apart again to fix that :-(
