http://www.euroncap.com/tests/land_rover_freelander_2002/142.aspx Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29km/h into a rigid pole.

  • @MrSonicAdvance I suppose it depends on what you're throwing your weight at though, I'd still prefer to be in one of these in crash than a lower saloon car. No worse than most other 2002 'softroaders'. Not to contradict what I just said above, but If you want to see something you really wouldn't want to have a crash in do a search on here for 'Chinese 4WD crash test', I think it's based on the Opel/Vauxhall Frontera but this base has seen many different badges and cosmetic changes.

  • Pretty poor performance from an off-roader, considering how drivers of these things like to throw their weight around on the road.

  • After the side impact did the vehicle roll over?

  • "yeah dude...umm sorry abour your car..."

  • aaaaaaa... :|
