He has a message of peace, Love and compassion, but that didn't keep the
Dalai Lama from taking on tough issues when he met with reporters Thursday.
When asked about peace in a violent world, the Tibetan spiritual leader says
military action can, at times, be necessary. But the Dalai Lama called the
wars in Afghanistan and Iraq "a failure".

  • The Afghan war a failure?

    Oh REALLY?!

    What a suprise-declaration.

  • I wonder if he realized he was in the heart of conservative redneck country where 1 out of three cars seem to sport a support the troups label sticker? The Dhali lama is a great living legend of our time. Why does our current Federal & Provincial conservative government seem content to "coddle" the atrocities of the Chinese government but lash out like hillbilly sheriffs at greenpeace protesters?

  • The Afghan war has been going for 10 years now, that's longer than any other war in recent history! He's right that it has been a failure after this long and we're getting nowhere. We need to get out of Iraq first, but that's a whole different issue..

  • HE IS JUST A NWO PUPPET
