thats not true tons of guys have no bjj training and most of them are kicking ass now with wrestling background. Well my point was if they want art against art contests thats like my dad can beat up your dad bullshit. These fucking clowns the gracies stated their jj was the best combat art on the planet, if so it should not matter who they go up against. There art is a bullshit parlor game that only works in the limited confines of MMA or when used in conjunction with other more practical arts

@bnsaints It's a martial art, it's not a gun. An 80-year-old man is still 80. And yeah, that's basically what happened, but it doesn't mean they 'chickened out'. I can't tell you to stab yourself in the eye and call you a chicken when you don't, people don't have to do things that could get them hurt unnecessarily.

And yeah, that's basically what I said about Benny. The Gracie Challenge was BJJ against other sports, not against like four at once.

Label was in his late 60's and they wanted to pit him against a younger Gracie and labell said lets be fair Helio is closer to my age lets do that and they chickened out. As far as Benny is concerned they ran fro one reason. Benny knew some grappling and judo and since they wouldn't have that advantage they knew he would shit stomp them

I think nowadays you get a pretty good idea of how BJJ and wrestling match up, because everybody in the sport has both. I don't know if I'd pick one over the other.
