The surgeries he perform are completely useless. He scrapes corneas, shoves surgical surgeries up nostrils and makes incisions at random areas of the body.

Of course Western medicine doesn't hold the answer to all ailments, but it doesn't take an M.D. to realize that what Joao is doing is ridiculous.

Stem cell research is a great advancement in scientific medicine, but unfortunately, RELIGION has held stem cell research back.

There are definately more ways of curing than the ones we know from western medicine. for example cuba has cure for some cancers using scorpion venom, in brazil they just found the cure for diabetes using stem cells, but in the states they do not want to even accept stem cell research, as sad as it is, that is the truth. dude, his herbal medicine cost pennies, he has nurses and food for everybody, he needs to pay for equipment and pay bills, all i got to say is that I am going to travel to brazil, with a bunch of doctors, internal medicine, surgeons and neurologist to check him out. It will be in a couple of months so I will try to post whatever videos or comments I can about it. therefore, there are a lot of things that we do not understand yet, we like to believe that we know, but history has been tempered with. Our knowledge of the human body is very limited, because we do not combine it with the spirit, who is our true self. By the way I study in a fully acredited american medical institution. I am not saying that I am a believer, but I must say that I understand his work. I watched it on oprah, and got my attention, just like chineese chi gon healers.

i am a medical doctor, and i am doing my residency in surgery, I must say, that even though it is very incredible what john of god is doing, I am a catholic and love history, by this i got to say first that jesus was not the only healer in history, other people have had the power to heal, and it is in the bible also. Second, I understand that western or american medicine is made to only alieviate but not for cure. I understand that the human body is made up of 70% water, and that we are energy

@ghuegel Well, I can see where you're coming from, but you should really get your facts straight. Joao de Deus doesn`t tell people to leave their conventional treatments, he actually encourages them not to stop seeing their regular doctors.

Everyone who goes there, goes for a reason, and no one is forced. Most have said that going there made them feel better in many many ways. I'm talking about people that have tried absolutely everything in their power to get healed and never did.
