Radio frequency ID is a great innovation. It's not new and it replaces the Bar-code system from the 70's. In the future, whenever you need to shop, all you do is to walk out with the items, by the time you reach your car the items have been paid in full. No delay at the counter, no fumbling for change or getting your card rejected. Your mobile phone has RFID and the transaction is done wireless.

If you drive daily on toll roads, you already have a RFID in your car, the easypass box. :-) KSHK
