This was originally intended to be a short video showing a technique used to split bamboo with a knife, but grew into the complete procedure of making a basket, with the addition of some buff willow - I hope it inspires someone to have a go!

  • hey toni, to me, your material looks more like river cane than young bamboo shoots. Am I correct in my observation? The black and white view of your vid could be impeding my judgment, but thats what it looks like to me. I still like your technique. Thanks for making the vid
