While I am not entirely fond of Miss Harleth, Romola Garai is one of the most beautiful, versatile, and talented actresses alive today. I figured that I might as well put together a video for her character, Gwendolen, despite my not liking her one bit, hahah.

This video is based entirely around her, with slight deviations to her relationship with her mother, Grandcourt, and Deronda.

Movie: Daniel Deronda.
Song: Limp Bizkit's "Behind Blue Eyes."

  • fantastic actress, one of the best from her generation.

for me she delivered the best performances in Atonement and she's stunning in Angel, just watch her body language and facial expression as she ages from 15 to 40!you'll find her very much the personification of a 1930s female heroine

i hope she continues with her wise choice of roles, she deserves to make it big.

  • I definitely agree with everything you've said here. And I also believe that she will make it big. Even if that means that she'll never make it to the A-List in big, American movies, we'll still have her grace and unsurpassed beauty in English films. :)

  • she did a good work also in Atonement and Angel..can't wait for her upcoming movies!

  • She was my favorite part of Atonement. :) She out-acted Knightley by a mile.

  • I need to see more of her movies

  • She's magical! I highly suggest Daniel Deronda, Amazing Grace, and Vanity Fair. :)
