More ice cream is made in Le Mars than any other place on the planet! Ice Cream Days in Le Mars Iowa, means the Wings RC flying club gets to put on demos for the public. With their own float in the parade, it invited people and by late afternoon, over 150 people showed up to watch as the sky's got cloudier and cloudier, making for great video perspective.
Le Mars is the home of Wells Blue Bunny Ice Cream. They are the largest maker of Ice Cream products in the world.
Out at the RC field was a cooler just full of ice cream and it was all free. Thanks Blue Bunny.
Jeff and I had a Midair which was unfortunate. I was able to Jury rig my PT-19 back together and fly it again, but Jeff needed a prop and a night with the Hot Melt glue gun. (Note, he did and his Sonic is now flying again)
Being invited by Rickey at the Club, I brought and flew many of my planes and did some 3D heli flying, including my one bladed, no tail rotor Hyperfly.

There were a few crashes, as always, but not as many for as many planes that were in the air at the same time

Here's a note about BLUE BUNNY ICE CREAM:

Since 1913, the colossally creative artisans at Wells— the largest family-owned and operated ice cream manufacturer in the United States —have been hard at work putting all things chunky, chewy, rich and gooey into their ice cream.
The Blue Bunny® brand was born in 1935 after the Wells brothers held a "Name That Ice Cream" contest in the Sioux City Journal . A Sioux City man won the $25 cash prize after submitting the winning entry along with his rendition of the original Blue Bunny® character.
Today, ice cream aficionados throughout all 50 states and Mexico can choose from nearly 500 tantalizingly tasty Blue Bunny® ice cream flavors, frozen dairy desserts and delectable novelties.
Blue Bunny® is made in Le Mars, Iowa: The Ice Cream Capital of the World.

More ice cream is made in Le Mars than any other place on the planet!

  • @GOSAULS For sure, this video is our from our Club Fly. However there is a club in Sioux City, less travel for you. Don't get me wrong, we'd like the members, but the Sioux City club might be better for you, I also hear they have a nice flying field there too. In fact on Sunday they had a club fly in Sioux City. I think they are the Sooland RC club, try finding them, I am certain they'd be happy to give you stick time on their planes, if not, come on out to Le Mars and we can help you.

  • @GOSAULS Are you a member of their club? The one guy in this video I believe is your president... Al Harms. If you're new and not a member and want to get into the hobby... you can get buddy-box flights here in Le Mars, or surely even in Sioux City for that matter. if interested for Le Mars message me.

  • @oakland002 Im no dave but I can tell you that there is either a pushbutton or slider trim adjustment thing on your transmitter that you should move forward (or clik) till it stops going backwards

  • As always, marvelous! I actually just bought a GuanLi P51 Mustang, but the throttle didn't work on the remote control, so I had to return the transmitter... In all truth Mr. Dave, you are the one who got me into RC planes, and I thank you greatly :)

  • you are greet man

  • here's a heli question, when you first start to trim your heli, if it keeps trying to fly backward, what's wrong or need to be change, i have a alloy shark 3 channel.

(it gets up off the ground then start flying backward)
