This is irrelevant, just because you have Christians that disobey god and do what they feel like doing to get people to come to christ, does not take away from the fact that there is real christians who go by what Jesus said, which is to love your enemy. Even if almost every christian tries to kill atheist, God will always keep a small amount of people who stand up and say that's wrong. God knows who he has chosen. This video is irrelevant to the faith of Jesus christ.

@chirectomy They are not, you can still see many of these devices in the tower of london and other castles cross england and tbh we were tame compared to european medieval torture.Only british monarchy used this as a pretense to kill off influential catholics and atheists with inherited land they wanted to steal. When the catholic church had the same reason as they were fighting to rid the world of orthodoxy which is truer to the new testament then catholoism(before protestants)

@chirectomy Google it, go into a library look up that well documented period of history. The puritans too didnt learn from catholic european hatred. Im wondering why you deny the history of christianity?

Nothing says "Jesus loves you" like having some spiky ball shoved up your ass...

Actually, as long as they survived, these are very good methods. You break down the spirit and then you can build it up the way you want it to be. Such methods are still in use. Of course, it's rather twisted, but effective.

Everyone who says "What's the harm in believing in supernatural things, even if they're not true?" should have to see this in school - twice a year.

Most of this is made up by...
A: Enlightenment propagandists trying to push THEIR gods (as hinted toward the end).
B: 19th-century folk historians catering to a prurient element.
The Inquisition is a sorry chapter in history, but these elaborate tortures are the Romantic equivalent of aliens building the pyramids.
And I'm not sure where they get 70,000 - wasn't it 3,000?

I would be quick to accept Jesus in these situations.. Fuck being tortured over it. They can control my words, not my thoughts.

Well, it's horrible what they describe, I agree.
And I'm pretty sure every human being with half a brain would agree as well.
I just don't see exactly, what about those story would make you laugh.
Ok, you've proofen that throughout the history of mankinde people have done horrible things to other people in the name of a believe that you don't agree with... But no matter from wich point of view I look at those things... I simply can't laugh about it... no matter who made it in anybodys name...
Need any one say more???

Judging by all the comments, I would have to say, "Nope, enough said."
