Bangkok has an incredible charm. Despite being a huge city it has a very cosy and charming character which can only be found in smaller cities. I start to feel tired and annoyed by the noise and stress of large cities but not in Bangkok. No matter how crazy that may sound but Krung Thep is a very relaxing and laid out mega-city.

Yes Bangkok is big but it is never overwhelming and it makes you feel home. I love all there in Bangkok.

I just came back from bangkok about 1 month ago. Gotta say, it is one of a kind. Such a beautiful place with such warm people. Smiles everywhere and i miss it VERY much. It's almost depressing to live here in the USA compare to thailand.

phrakanong: thanks - no doubt I'll be back for Loy Krathong! But always spend a day or two in Krung Thep before heading NE for "my" junglevillage. When living in Denmark you are not used to get smiles everywhere you go so its a relief to visit Thailand (and my wife!) .... look forward for more videos from you ;-)

I love Krung Thep - sitting in Copenhagen, Denmark missing missing missing my wife, Bangkok and all the people in Thailand, my heart is almost bleeding
