The winter Solstice was never a thing for Atheist but an aspect of many of the old religions around the world and to claim it as atheist because it is a natural occurrence is in insulting to all of the other religions around the world that celebrate as a religious holiday.

@leebo529 which part of the Bible condemns slavery, or homophobia, or genocide? Which part of Matthew agrees with Luke about the virgin birth, or the date? Shepherds or magi? Nazareth or Bethlehem? Caesar Augustus ordered no census. Quirinius was not governor of Syria at that time. Herod was dead *before* he allegedly met with the magi, and then ordered the "Massacre of The Innocents. *You* obviously haven't read the Bible.

Faux news always loves to gang up on the religious skeptic. Bill donahue like other uptight christians has a permanent scowl on his face. Notice Dan Barker looks totally calm and peaceful. Just shows how religion poisons everything including people's outlook on life. If the church can put up a nativity scene than FFRF should be able to put up an atheist viewpoint. it's only fair. Otherwise the government is endorsing christianity over other views.

I read this title as Phil Donahue first and thought to myself why would he be discussing religion with Dan Barker.

Phil might have done a better job than Bill.... don't want to hear Mr. Donahue talk about hate speech, given some of the truly vile things he's stated about LGBT people... doesn't get much more hateful that that.

This host is also horrifically misinformed, though being on Fox not at all surprised.
