I dig the other guitarists' style too. Really F.N. tasteful.
-
The timing on the recording is messed up in many places.

@202pdiddy And Ronnie Wood is a better singer & guitar player> In your dreams...Rhichards ain't even this good a guitar player.
-
@terryorr Um, they always thought he was a great guitar player. But I've never thought the Stones were missing a Taylor vocal.

Mick Taylor is really a good singer! You'd have to guess during his time with the Stones.. He still has the blues licks that have won him so many fans over the years.

It's Albert King's "I Wonder Why"

Since 1968 Taylor has been one of my foremost heroes. What i like about him (& Snowy White in this clip) is he doesn't feel it necessary to pull weird faces when he plays YET he plays with more feel than most "idols" like John Mayer,KWS,and even SRV.(yeah, i know i'm gonna get killed) No pretense with Mick and even Snowy. Micks tone has always been PERFECT..his sense of taste and timing is also.

Mick Taylor should have been given the chance to sing on a couple stones songs instead of Keef but that would have been too much to ask. If the Glimmer Twins admitted Mick T had awesome chops and could sing they would have had to pay him more than minimum wage.
