Jethro is sick / exhausted and talks a little more about his orientation in DC, in preparation for his trip to Japan this summer. Topics of interest include business cards, parties, and using the phrase "sumimasen" to basically get away with anything.

Thanks so much to Kotaro Kodera and Thet Win (who appear in this video), as well as all the others from JSPS for flying all the way out here to offer their time and advice.

If you will be in Japan between June and August you should let me know right away!

  • @ghostwritten87 Yeah, it was a late night for me-- between long uploading times, editing this video, and 5-second black-screen gaps in my first video, it all took too much time. : P

    ~ Jethro.

  • @songsfrompaul I'd pay to listen to that guy again! He should go into comedy.

    ~ Jethro.

  • @withalittlegrace He was easily the best person giving a formal presentation about Japan. He just knew how to connect with people who had never been to Japan before-- it's really hard to do that!

    ~ Jethro.

  • Hooray for entertaining lecturers! :)

  • The lecturer guy is amazing :D

  • That presentatin guy is hilarious :D And yey for unexpectedly getting more money! :)

Just realised what time you must have been up this morning to have been uploading the videos when you did - no wonder you're tired! :(
