just throwing in some Hikari Cichlid Gold pellets for my larger cichlids such as the oscar and green terror...even the little jack snags a few!
For more info about this tank and its fish stock, please check out my other vids and subscribe to my channel! it would be much appreciated!
Also, i know this is an "American" cichlid tank and there are African cichlid species still here...im working on moving all of the africans out of this tank and narrowing down my fish stock. Check out my other vids for more info.

The current stock in the tank:
-1 Tiger Oscar 7"
-1 Green Terror Cichlid 4"
-2 Jack Dempsey Cichlids (male & female) 3"
-1 Firemouth cichlid 4"
-2 African Synodontis Catfish 6"
-1 African Brown Knife Fish 5"
-2 Yellow Lab Cichlids
-1 African Peacock Cichlid 4"
-1 Electric Blue Hap 5"

Now Obviously this is way too much for a single 75 gallon tank...but as i said above, im still in the process of moving the africans out, and deciding which American Cichlids i want to keep in this tank.

  • how fast do jack's grow? Im wondering because i just bought some and there are so color ful and there only 2inch big. And i wanna know what they look like when there older!

  • @blackjaxin honestly Jacks grow pretty slowly...well, when compared to something like an oscar...but almost everything grows slower than an oscar lol. A well fed jack will grow about 1/2 and inch per month. By the first year, youre Jack should be about 7 inches or so. Females rarely grow larger than 7 inches, and males grow to a max of about 10 inches, with some individuals reaching a foot but thats very rare

  • Hey it's been quiet a while since i've stopped by here, anyways did you end up getting another oscar and what happened to your other fish such as the parrot etc...?

  • @dreamerguy91 yes i got a new oscar since the albino tiger oscar i had died due to the pleco incident which i think you may know about, but correct me if im wrong. but anyway yes after that oscar died, i kept african malawi cichlids for a few months but i missed the american cichlids so much...esspecially i missed having an oscar, so i changed the tank again and got this oscar when he was just 1.5 inches

  • @BingX14 Yeah i was quiet aware of your old oscar's accident, but gotta agree with you because SA cichlid do got something special in them which makes lots of people like me. I've recently got another JD (i finally got a male) so hopefully i'll try to get him to pair off with my female once the male gets bigger. But yeah i'm wondering do you prefer Tiger Oscars or the Albino Oscars? since you had both i'm curious to know.

  • @dreamerguy91 thats awesome, goodluck with the jacks! and honestly after having both i think i tend to like the normal tiger oscar's coloration a bit more than the albino's just because of the awesome contrast of the really bright orange on the really dark grayish black. i feel like the orange stands out quite a lot more in the regular tiger oscars instead of the albinos...but i think the albino's are very cool in their own right, so id say its all personal preference.I love your albino tiger!

  • i have two tigers one 13 inches and one eight as well as a 5 inch convict in a 75 gal check out my channel if you want to see it. im a bit worried about the water quality

  • how old is your green terror? its great

  • @BingX14

Thanks for the input about the female JD's.. Lol, I've been waiting for mine to get bigger but obviously its a female and will stay around 7inches,to which is the lenght of mine and has been that size for a year now.. so Thanks... I had no idea that the females stay small..

  • @lhomme38 Yes it is said that since cichlids are aggresive fish the more you put in the tank the better as the aggresion will be spread out rather than focused on a specific fish.

  • @BingX14 Hey there im alsoa big fan of oscars and different cichilids(checkout my vids)i also got my oscars at around an inch and they are about 9-10 in now! Always wanted a JD but just dont have the space and would have to get rid of an oscar. If i had to get rid of one though it would be the albino one. Love the red one way too much to give it up although the albino and lemon(correct me if im wrong!)are the to which seemed to have paired of

  • that's a really nice oscar, never seen 1 so black before, good work

  • @bingX14 based on ur experience do u think it's ok to keep african cichlids on oscar cuz based on this video they seem to get along fine

  • nice oscar, very different coloration than i've seen before.
