Pashtu is promoted by the Kuffar because it is a dog language that serves their interests - it is tribal and backward - perfect for making Afghanistan a slave of their order.
Russia has long been a centre for Pashtu language studies, it is why they invaded Balkh to support Pashtun Amanullah against Habibullah Kalkani, it is why they invaded Afghanistan in support of their beloved dog Pashtuns against Massoud.
