theres hardl yenough crap in a cig to call it tobacco....and the little bit thats in there is the poorest quality-dregs of the dregs- yeah...lets take tobacco scraps of fhe floor and make paper-PAPER- with the same chemicals thy ey make notebook paper out of, and put it in cigs....WTF...( i smoked for 22 years btw...smoke a pipe now)

If you think about it, everything Don put in this "full-page tantrum" is true. Why you even need advertising when no-one can stop smoking, and no-one will (read "can") switch brands is ridiculous. Big Tobacco paid heavily for no good reason. Although, the ad agencies surely must've been over the moon that Big Tobacco WAS stupid enough to pay those hefty prices; by the same token, they had all the opportunities to remove themselves from the futile game.
