Course Description: This course will focus upon the administration of social security schemes.
Administration covers many areas. In this course we will look at:
Collection and compliance -- how can administrators ensure that the rights and obligations of participants are being fulfilled; Improving efficiency and effectiveness -- administrators need to work smarter to meet objectives set for them by Government; Improving service delivery -- how can we ensure that all stakeholders are happy with what we do; Improving communication -- social security schemes have taken a battering during the global financial crisis so how can we convince stakeholders that they are still relevant today; Your staff -- the front-line of keeping the customer satisfied. Participants will be able to:
- To better understand why administration needs as much attention as policy;
- To better understand how countries are approaching the avoidance and evasion of contributions and to consider possible solutions to your problems;
- To better understand how better trained staff can help improve customer service delivery
