My family and I were at West Beach on Oak Island the week of March 13 and we loved it. It is so pretty and relaxing and I would tell anyone to go there for their vacation this year.

I can honestly say that this was the most relaxed I have ever been on a vacation. I always get a sense of homesickness after about 3 days while on vacation. But here, my wife and I just felt, well....at home. I love the Southern way of life. Relaxed, friendly, laidback. The beach was secluded, and the weather was perfect. Relaxing walks on the beach, beautiful nights sitting out on our porch, having nice t-bone steaks and delicious corn on the cob from the fresh market down the street. Great.

I go to Kure Beach in the summer. I went on the ferry to Southport and saw that lighthouse up close. I painted a picture of it also.

I went there last year and it's awsome!!!!!!!!....I also climbed the light house and watch shark fishing a night off a pier...well,prob the only big pier on the island lol

I'm thinking about spending my honeymoon around the Brunswick islands. Which island would be best if we want secluded and beautiful and close enough to drive in for shopping/dining?

Seclusion would be Caswell Beach (if you want access to shopping/dining)
Bald Head Island is accessable via ferry - transportation on the island is via golf carts - BHI has shopping / dining / grocery store
