I must say that old East End ruffian lookin chap Gary Lammin ain't half hit the nail on the head with this ditty of a toe tapper...the film and commentary are as one! It's a right kick in the yarbles to the left and the right...and straight down the middle as well. @GOJOMUSIC Thanks. It's seems it's in the ether. Gary wrote this a while back (I think in the past year) and you don't need huge antennae to pick up the storm headed this way. I like the way Gary distils the vibe and snarls it out and, yes, he really did hit the nail on the bonce.

garry's from stepney, martin's lived on the old kent road for donkeys... can't get much more working class than that!... garry wrote all the rejects best songs & has written some terrific solo & small project stuff down the last few years which has now percolated up into a fine punkblues espresso! powerful, succint social commentary... no use for pints of whipped cream & choccy sprinkles here mate... love it

First and foremost it's a great tune; the original outsiders, punks, mods and rockers of the 50's, 60's and 70's knew the value of music from the streets that grabs your attention, tells it how it is and what it feels like - whats the point of having a revolution if the soundtrack is shit! The Bermondsey Joyriders know this - The song is right on the button - society is changing and not for the better and people are getting pissed off. Better get used to the sound of Noise and Rebellion!

Society's changing alright, and not for the better as this video shows. Bent coppers, bent politicians, bent society and people then wonder why the dregs of that society behave like they do. Time for another change, time for real people power ... and let's do it to the sound of The Joyriders!
