This song is not about a prostitute. This song was inspired by a restroom attendant that Donna herself came upon at a restaurant. How it evolved into a song about a waitress is locked away in Donna's imagination. Maybe because the origin of the song happened at a restaurant. And "Bad Girls" was inspired by an office worker at her record company who was taken (or seen by some cops) for a prostitute. If you follow Donna Summer's career at all, these are facts described by Donna herself. Peace.

YO man, I think it's cool how this video brings this ancient song back into the mainstream. This DJ knew how to sample - instead of making another hip-hop video about a hoe - he made it more accessible - bringing generations together. I think that's a good thing.

this is good.. much better than the original. too bad she didn't record it on this level.. it would have kept her in the true spirit of dance music, and gave it more of an edge. the original track was way too main stream and lacked the intensity of core dance club music.
